To place an online order, just follow these six easy steps:
1. Choose your Products
Find the desired products under our product category list (Gold Bars | Gold Coins | Silver Bars | Silver Coins) and add them to your shopping cart by clicking the “Add to Cart” button.
2. Check your Cart
The shopping cart provides you with an overview of the total value of your order and enables you to easily add to or take away the products you have previously chosen. Once you feel ready to finalise your order, just click the “Checkout” button that is visible at the bottom right of your shopping cart window.
In the checkout window, we ask you to select a delivery option (self pick-up or insured mail), and to fill in the required personal information either as a member or as a guest. Review that you have filled in all the details correctly and thereafter click the “Order” button that is visible at the bottom right of your checkout window.
Your order is now placed and an invoice containing the payment details and the instructions on how to transfer the funds is automatically sent to the email address you provided during the checkout.
5. Make Payment
The clearing of your funds may take 1-2 business days depending on your bank. We will always notify you by email when we have received your payment. Click here to read more about our payment options.
6. Take Delivery of your Products
Depending on the delivery option you selected during checkout, the products are delivered to you by insured mail, or will be waiting for you to personally pick them up at our office. Click here to read more about delivery.
Just walk into one of our five offices in Stockholm and buy over the counter. Click here to see our opening hours. For purchases over the counter, Tavex accepts cash and foreign currency.
We offer volume discounts on gold and silver purchases, which are displayed under each product description. For orders that exceed EUR 300,000 please contact us on 08-678 20 30 or by email at email@example.com to discuss even better prices.
Tavex currently only accepts prepayments.
When placing an order through our online shop, you can choose to have the products delivered to your local post office or to collect them in person at one of our offices in Stockholm.
A. Delivery by Postnord: Your products will be dispatched after we have received full payment for your order. Currently, delivery time varies for different products. You will receive a notification by SMS or mail when your package has arrived.
B. Self pick-up: you can also personally pick up your order at one of our offices in Stockholm after we notify you that your order is ready for pick up.
In both instances, you need to bring a valid ID to collect the products.
The package is fully insured, and in the extremely unlikely case that the package is lost or damaged, we will re-ship the items or refund your money. The insurance only applies whilst the products are in transit and ceases to be valid once the shipping carrier obtains the recipient’s signature.
Our products are always insured when transported to the customer. We use County Insurance.
Tavex AB has been authorised to trade Precious Metals by the Swedish Police. Authorisation number: AA572-95480-2011 (since 05.12.2011)
The products are encased in protective wrapping and placed in a discreet, unbranded padded package.
Once the products have been packaged, the tracking number is sent to your email address. On the Postnord homepage, you use their tracking tool together with the tracking number you received and follow the shipping process of your order.
Should a delivery delay occur or if the ordered product is out of stock, we will always contact you by email to give you details about the delivery.

If you are planning on ordering both silver and gold, your applied shipping price will be of the higher bracket. For example, if you buy 100 grams of gold (299 SEK Fee) and 6000 grams of silver (399 SEK Fee), you will pay 399 SEK for shipping.
In orders where you purchase silver, 25% of the shipping price will be charged as VAT and will be shown on the buy invoice. Please note that the prices above are shown with VAT included. Following, orders with gold shall not apply VAT in the delivery cost.
If you make an order with both silver and gold, VAT charges will come into effect as well, however only for the silver that has been ordered.
Clients at Tavex can purchase gold and silver products either by placing an order through our online shop, or by visiting one of our offices where the desired products can be purchased over the counter. Take into consideration that the client, the payer and the recipient must be the same person. This applies both to purchases in our online shop and in our offices.
Tavex accepts bank wire transfers and debit/credit card for online purchases.

B. Invoice: Once you have placed an order through the online shop, a pro forma invoice containing the payment details will be sent automatically to the email address that you provided during the checkout process. If the receiving currency is not SEK you need to contact us for the rates and account information to make the payment.
Clearing of the funds: The clearing of your payment may take 1-2 business days depending on who you bank with.
C. Debit/Credit Card (no fee)
For purchases over the counter, Tavex accepts cash, foreign currency and debit cards.
A. Foreign currency: Tavex accepts foreign currency as a payment option; however, we are required to exchange the foreign cash into Swedish kronor upon purchase – we offer a preferable exchange rate when you buy gold or silver. B. Debit card: We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards. There is no fee on debit cards. We do not accept American Express and Diners cards. For purchases over SEK 10,000, we are required to ask you for a valid identification document to verify that you are the rightful cardholder.
OBS! We do not accept credit cards, business cards or foreign cards over the counter.
For large or frequent transactions, we are required by Swedish law to ask for a copy of a valid ID and documentation regarding the origin of the funds.
