Gold has made a strong recovery after the decline in October and is once again approaching this year’s peak levels.
After a dramatic autumn, gold prices have continued to strengthen. On December 1, 2025, gold traded at around 1,292 SEK per gram – just a hair away from the all-time high of 1,310 SEK per gram set on October 19, 2025.
A rapid recovery pattern has taken shape. After reaching its peak, the gold price fell sharply and bottomed at 1,188 SEK per gram, but has since climbed steadily. This movement is described by both Swedish and international analysts as a clear sign of strength.
Buy gold today at a great price!
Gold prices are influenced by many factors, but several global signals currently point in the same direction. Internationally, the price is being supported by:
Similar sentiment is reflected in today’s reporting from the U.S. and Europe, where gold is once again moving in a clear sideways-to-uptrend. Silver has also been trading near new global record levels, further signaling strong demand for precious metals.
The trend is not only visible in SEK. In USD, gold broke higher during late November and early December, supported by:
This American trend reinforces the picture that today’s price levels are part of a broader global recovery, not merely a Swedish currency effect.
With gold once again nearing the October record, investors now face an interesting phase. The rapid drop from 1,310 to 1,188 SEK per gram worried many, but the strong rebound illustrates how quickly the market can shift when sentiment changes.
For long-term investors, the development points to:
Risk-averse investors — both in Sweden and abroad — are once again turning to gold in uncertain times, something that is becoming increasingly visible in the price.
